Job summary

Coulter Services in Appleton, WI, is seeking a skilled cabinetmaker to fabricate aircraft furniture and wood-surfaced subassemblies from blueprints, specifications, and drawings, with emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity.

You will assemble cabinet shells, install hardware, apply laminates, operate power tools, follow 5S and safety policies, track parts, and collaborate with leads to improve processes using Lean Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of cabinetmaking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Gulfstream inspection and aerospace industry experience is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of cabinetmaking processes, products, and tools.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift up to 40 pounds, and work in any shift.
• Computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, pin, glue cabinet shells, and install hardware such as drawer-slides, hinges, and latches.
• Apply exterior surface materials like laminates and veneers.
• Operate stationary and hand-held power tools for fabrication and disassembly.
• Follow safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies, utilizing PPE.
• Use material tracking systems for parts demand and work sign-off.
• Collaborate with lead and skilled technicians to improve processes using Lean Six Sigma techniques.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.
