Job summary

Wise Cabinetry in Layton, UT is seeking a skilled woodworker to join our high‑end cabinetry shop. Assemble cabinets, run the edge bander, cut parts on the table saw, and detail doors, drawers and trim in preparation for finish.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of woodworking experience and can show pictures of their prior work; all skill levels are encouraged to apply.

This is a long‑term craftsman role offering steady work with a team that values craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cabinets and machine components for prep for finish.
• Run the edge bander and cut fine parts on the table saw.
• Detail cabinets, doors, drawers and miscellaneous cabinet parts.
• Glue and clamp wood and veneer parts; install hardware as needed.
• Gluing parts and assembling billets and related components.

Job Overview

Assembly side of shop.

Assemble cabinets, run edge bander, cut fine parts on table saw, detail cabinets, doors, drawers and miscellaneous cabinet parts for prep for finish.

Machine and assembly drawers, hardware cabinets, install all parts in cabinets with door, drawer fronts and miscellaneous parts.

Gluing and clamping wood and veneer parts.

Gluing parts on clamp carrier, glue parts to make billet stair treads, coffer beams.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a passion for wood‑working with 5+ (preferred) years experience and be able to show pictures of their work (preferred). All levels of skill set are encouraged to apply.
