Job summary

Kitchen Solvers of Metro Detroit is seeking an Installer to support cabinet installation, refacing, flooring, and tile work on residential projects. You will manage field labor, materials, and safety while delivering on-time results and exceptional customer service.

The role requires 1–3 years carpentry experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Strong tool proficiency and reliable driving with a clean DMV record are desired.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience preferred as a carpenter or related field.
• High School degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in a customer service-related industry and basic carpentry skills.
• Computer skills, with knowledge of the primary Microsoft Office programs.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and operate common carpentry tools.

Responsibilities

• Review Engineering specs and ensure job flow is in order.
• Lead subcontractors to complete tasks within deadlines and meet quality expectations.
• Ensure tools, equipment, materials, and labor are available for smooth progress.
• Walk through final punch list with the customer to ensure satisfaction.
• Accurately track time daily.
• Maintain 100% safety standards on all job sites.
• Roll out and put away tools, cords, and materials daily.
• Clean up work areas and maintain tools and equipment.
• Secure and lock up site tools at the end of the day.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned.
