Central Wisconsin Woodworking Corporation is seeking a Finishing Assistant to support cabinet finishing operations at our Weston, WI facility. You will help sand, stain, and apply finishes to ensure our high-quality standards are met.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work with a team and independently. Lifting up to 50 pounds and adhering to safety practices are routine, with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques.

Responsibilities

• Sanding and preparing surfaces for finishing.
• Applying stains, varnishes, and other finishes.
• Lifting/manipulating materials for coating and storage up to 50lbs, with team lifting for heavier items.
• Inspecting finished products for quality and consistency.
• Assisting with maintenance and organization of the finishing area.
• Following safety protocols and keeping a clean work environment.
