Claro Inc. is seeking a skilled Cabinet Finisher to join our Nashville shop team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience finishing custom cabinetry and wood products, delivering smooth, high-quality finishes on every piece.

Responsibilities include prepping components, applying stains and topcoats, matching colors, and performing touch-ups while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and meeting production schedules.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cabinet or furniture finishing is required.
• Experience with spray finishing equipment is required.
• Knowledge of finishing products and color matching.
• Strong eye for color, consistency and detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cabinets, doors and components for finishing (sanding, filling, caulking, cleaning).
• Apply stains, paints, primers, sealers and topcoats using spray and hand-finishing techniques.
• Mix and match stain and paint colors to approved samples.
• Apply specialty finishes (glazing, distressing, toning) as required.
• Inspect for runs, sags, dust, and other defects between coats.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Finisher to join our shop team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience finishing custom cabinetry and wood products and takes pride in delivering a smooth, consistent, high-quality finish on every piece.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cabinets, doors, and components for finishing, including sanding, filling, caulking, and cleaning
• Apply stains, paints, primers, sealers, and topcoats using spray equipment and hand-finishing techniques
• Mix and match stain and paint colors to approved samples
• Apply specialty finishes such as glazing, distressing, or toning as required
• Scuff-sand between coats and inspect for runs, sags, dust, and other defects
• Perform touch-ups, repairs, and finish corrections on new and existing work
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards before assembly or delivery
• Clean and maintain spray guns, equipment, and the spray booth, including filter changes
• Handle, store, and dispose of finishing materials safely and in compliance with regulations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Work with the shop team to keep projects moving and meet production schedules

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cabinet or furniture finishing required
• Experience with spray finishing equipment required
• Knowledge of finishing products
• Strong eye for color, consistency, and detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable, punctual, and quality-focused
• Ability to wear a respirator and other PPE as required
