Job summary

One Southern Indiana is seeking a dependable Local Delivery Driver / Shop Hand for local cabinet deliveries and shop support in Louisville. It is a hands-on, physical role requiring material handling and basic shop tasks.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading, timely local deliveries, inspecting deliveries for accuracy, and assisting with receiving and organization. The position requires safety compliance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Experience driving a delivery van, pickup truck, or similar vehicle.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and construction measurements is helpful.
• Dependable, punctual, careful, and able to work well with others.
• Professional and courteous when interacting with customers and contractors.
• Able to lift and carry heavy or bulky materials.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload cabinets, doors, mouldings, casework, materials, and supplies.
• Make timely local deliveries to job sites, customers, and vendors.
• Inspect deliveries for accuracy and help protect finished products from damage.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing materials.
• Keep delivery vehicles, loading areas, and shop spaces clean and organized.
• Help shop employees with basic material preparation and general labor.
• Assist installation crews at job sites when needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and traffic laws.
