Job summary

GoodWork Staffing is seeking a dependable Cabinet Assembly Technician in our North Charlotte facility to join the production team. You will assemble cabinets, drawers, doors, and related components according to blueprints and work orders, while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role requires reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, and ensuring precise measurements. You will collaborate with team members to meet daily output goals and support packaging and shipment of finished

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous cabinet assembly, woodworking, furniture assembly, manufacturing, or carpentry experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other assembly equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cabinets, drawers, doors, and related components according to blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Install hardware such as hinges, drawer slides, handles, and other cabinet accessories.
• Verify measurements and ensure proper alignment and fit of assembled products.
• Maintain production schedules and meet daily output goals.
• Identify and report defective materials, equipment issues, or safety concerns.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with company safety policies.
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing completed products for shipment.
• Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and quality control personnel.
