Crystal Cabinet Works in Princeton, MN is seeking an Assembler I to join our team. The position involves attaching doors, drawers, and hardware to frameless cabinets, with a first shift from 5:00 AM to 3:15 PM and occasional overtime.

Candidates should be able to read construction orders, prioritize work, and communicate with drafters as needed. The role requires operation of woodworking machines (saw, edge bander, router) and basic math, along with assembling cabinets and organizing parts to

Qualifications

• Attaching doors, drawers and hardware to frameless cabinets.
• Communicating with drafters to clarify jobs.
• Performing touch-ups and repairs.
• Reading construction orders and prioritizing work.
• Gathers and organizes doors, drawer parts and hardware.

Responsibilities

• Reviews construction orders and prioritizes work.
• Communicates with drafters as needed to clarify jobs and programming.
• Performs touch-ups and repairs.
• Sets up and operates machines i.e., chop saws, edge banders, routers, dowelers, pocket screws, etc.
• Assembles cabinets with special parts or hardware, modifying construction methods if needed.
• Maintains knowledge of other departments within the company to complete jobs.
• Gathers and organizes parts to complete weekly workload.
• Maintains knowledge of setup to ensure product is properly built.
• Keeps knowledge of wood species and differentiates between them.
• Performs basic mathematical calculations and reads measurement devices.
• Fills in other areas as needed.
