Migis Hotel Group in Casco, ME is seeking a Cabin Steward to greet guests, assist with luggage, orient them to accommodations and property, and provide light maintenance. You will spend much of the day outdoors, interacting with guests and other staff while representing a lakeside resort.
No prior experience required; three full-time shifts; competitive hourly pay plus an incentive; seasonal ASAP through October 2026; housing may be available for full-time candidates.

Cabin Stewards are responsible for meeting& greeting newly arrived guests, assisting them with luggage, and providingan orientation to the resorts property and amenities. In addition, CabinStewards are responsible for daily cottage services including laying fires,filling wood boxes, delivering fresh ice and glassware, cleaning cottageporches, and providing light maintenance services. Cabin Stewards interact withall levels of Resort management, as well as most other department employees, sothe position will provide an opportunity to gain real insight into theoperation of Maine's premiere lakeside Full American Plan resort.
Hours: Full-time. Three shifts: 6:30am to 3pm, 8:30am to 5pm, or 10am to 7pm
Compensation: $16.50- $17.50 per hour, depending on experience. + 7% of wages incentive payment

Bellmen/Valets/CabinStewards are responsible for greeting guests, assisting with movingluggage, orienting guests to accommodations and property, as well asassisting with light maintenance and deliveries of messages, packages,faxes, etc. to guests and other staff members. This position requires anoutgoing personality, strong attention to detail and the ability towork without constant direct supervision. This job is for candidates wholike being on their feet and who think quickly on their feet. PastCabin Stewards favorite part of the job is being able to be outside allday enjoying interacting with guests and working under the pines alongthe shores of beautiful Sebago Lake. You will be an ambassador, aproblem solver, a smiling face, and an answer center for our guests. Youwill have the chance to form bonds with guests as part of your frequentdaily interactions.
Maintain a neat and professional appearance with a properly cleaned uniform.
Welcomeand acknowledge each and every guest with a smile, eye contact, and afriendly verbal greeting, using the guest’s name when possible.
Engage guests in conversation and actively orient guests to the property, amenities and experiences.
Thank guests with genuine appreciation and bid them a fond farewell at departure.
Activelylisten to and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, andrequests. Anticipate guest service needs. Proactively approach guestsneeding service or assistance.
Must be able tolift and move guest luggage, hotel supplies, heavy boxes, maintenanceequipment that can weight more than 50 pounds.
Must beable to place luggage in appropriate areas in guest accommodations orluggage storage areas according to property specifications or guestrequests. Must be able to assist guests with unloading and loadingluggage from vehicles.
Offer to park cars for guests orif requested, according to property procedures. Return car keys todesignated area assigned at each property.
Correctly set up accommodations according to daily directions and according to property procedures.
Usediscretion to avoid disturbing guests in rooms or public spaces.Understand how everything operates in guest rooms (climate control,fireplaces, fans, lighting, etc) and be able to explain operations toour guests.
Responsible for security of any roomor supply closet keys, as well as for respecting the personal propertyand privacy of guests while working in guest rooms.
Be prepared to answer basic questions about the property, activities, etc., or know where to refer guests for answers.
Workwith colleagues to ensure that guest’s needs are continually met. Makefront desk staff aware of any special needs so that notes can be madefor future visits.
Handle and communicate guest requests,special needs, guest room or public space maintenance issues and guestcomplaints in a professional manner.
Perform lightmaintenance duties, grounds keeping and landscaping tasks as assigned oras you notice these routine tasks need to be completed.
Label and submit all lost and found items according to property procedures.
Understandpersonal sanitation, the use of personal protective equipment and howto handle unsanitary items, bodily fluids, etc. Be aware of ways toprevent personal injury from improper reaching, lifting, stretching andcarrying.
Know who to notify in case of broken equipment or unsafe/unsanitary conditions.
Manually handle/lift/carry product up to 60 pounds between knee and shoulders. May occasionally have to lift up to 100 pounds.
Must have bilateral fine manipulation of both hands which may be repetitive for entire shift.
Must be vertically mobile for entire shift.

Must be eligible to work in the United States of America.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Abilityto communicate in English, both orally and written, with guests andemployees, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact anddiplomacy.
Ability to work as a part of a team.
Ability to understand verbal directions, labels on chemicals, and other workplace safety signage.
Active listening and observation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and deal with deadlines and stressful situations.
