Job summary

Jet Aviation is seeking an experienced Cabin Safety Attendant to join our San Jose team aboard the Gulfstream 700. This elite role rewards discretion, guest focus, and safety mastery for high-profile passengers.

You will manage preflight checks, safety briefings, in-flight service, and post-trip reporting while mentoring junior crew and coordinating with the PIC. A four-year aviation background and formal safety credentials are required.

Qualifications

  • Flight Safety International or equivalent Cabin Attendant training.
  • MedAire Inflight Illness and Injury cert or CPR/AED equivalent.
  • Four years in private or corporate aviation.
  • Two years of culinary/high-end hospitality experience.
  • Must be 21+ with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Flight Operations: assist PIC, preflight checks, report maintenance issues.
  • Passenger Safety & Comfort: manage cabin systems, seating, safety briefings.

Your Mission

Create Unforgettable In-Flight Experiences. As a Cabin Safety Attendant, you'll take ownership of every detail, from pre-flight preparation to post-flight follow-through, ensuring an unparalleled level of comfort, safety, and discretion for our clientele. You'll work closely with the flight crew to deliver a seamless, luxurious experience that reflects Jet Aviation's commitment to excellence.

What You'll Do
  • Flight Operations:
    • Work closely with the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) to ensure smooth operations.
    • Conduct preflight cabin checks and report maintenance issues promptly.
    • Coordinate with crews to maintain a pristine, guest-ready aircraft.
  • Passenger Safety & Comfort:
    • Assist with cabin systems, luggage, and seating arrangements—including for children and passengers with disabilities.
    • Operate safety equipment with confidence and precision.
    • For Part 91 flights, ensure passenger compliance with federal regulations.
    • Deliver safety briefings as advised by the PIC.
    • Assist or command the cabin during aircraft or medical emergencies.
  • Cabin Maintenance & Service:
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and luxurious cabin environment.
    • Manage bedding, supplies, and amenities to the highest standards.
    • Source vendors and coordinate high-end catering tailored to passenger preferences.
    • Prepare and serve meals and beverages with fine dining precision.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Update client profiles with current preferences and special requirements.
    • Complete post-trip reports and manage expense accounts.
    • Maintain aircraft-specific manuals and stay current with all required training.
  • Supervisory & Training:
    • Lead and mentor contract or part-time crew members.
    • Represent Jet Aviation as a trusted ambassador to industry groups and regulatory bodies.
What We’re Looking For
  • Expert Credentials: Flight Safety International or equivalent corporate Cabin Attendant recurrent training. MedAire Management of Inflight Illness and Injury certification or CPR/AED equivalent.
  • Proven Experience: Four years in a similar role in private or corporate aviation. At least two years of culinary and/or high-end hospitality experience.
  • Education: High school diploma required.
  • Flexibility & Readiness: Ability to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles—including extended trips, holidays, and weekends. Willingness to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions.
  • License Requirements: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.

What You’ll Experience

Physical Requirements: Perform tasks requiring regular use of hands, standing, walking, and sitting. Occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching. Frequent lifting and moving up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting. Maintain sharp vision across various ranges and depths.

Work Environment: Operate in a variety of environments, from heavy maintenance areas to upscale customer spaces. Experience the dynamic atmosphere of aircraft arrivals and departures. Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this position is $185,000 to $215,000. Please note that this range is not a guaranteed offer of compensation. The final salary will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, geographic location, and other relevant considerations.
