Job summary

Envoy Air in Columbus, OH is hiring a janitorial crew member to keep aircraft interiors spotless before departure. You will clean seats, floors, trays, overhead bins, galley and windows, restock supplies, and support safety by following checklists.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, overnight shifts including holidays and weekends, strong attention to detail, and ability to read/write and speak English.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with supplies up to 50 lbs.
• Overnight shifts including holidays and weekends may be required.
• Previous janitorial or housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare aircraft interior for departure by cleaning seats, pockets, floor, tables, bins, cockpit, galley and windows.
• Stock supplies such as toilet paper, cups, napkins, condiments and magazines.
• Assist with security searches and safety checks as required.
• Complete tasks and cleaning using a detailed checklist.
• Communicate with Supervisors to report lost items and damaged items.

How will you make an impact?

Responsibilities

• Prepare the interior of the aircraft for departure by ensuring that all areas including the seats, seatback pockets, floor, tray tables, overhead bins, cockpit, galley, and windows are thoroughly clean
• Guarantee the appropriate supplies such as: toilet paper, sanitary products, cups, napkins, condiments, and magazines are accurately stocked
• Be a champion for safety and security by assisting with required security searches of the aircraft
• Ensure that all work tasks are completed and cleaning is highly detailed by using a specified check list
• Drive communication with Supervisors to ensure timely reporting of any lost items found on an aircraft and identifying any damaged items in the work area

• Minimum age: 18
• Must be able to carry, bend, lift, and turn with supplies weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work a schedule during overnight hours, including overnight hours on holidays and weekends
• Must enjoy working in a detail-oriented environment with deadlines
• Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous janitorial or housekeeping experience preferred
