Qualifications

Position Summary

This full-time Part 91 Gulfstream GV Cabin Attendant position, based in Austin, TX (KAUS) , is responsible for delivering exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and discretion. The Cabin Attendant manages all aspects of cabin operations, ensuring a seamless, personalized, and world‑class experience while adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements. This role is also responsible for aircraft provisioning, inventory management, and ensuring the cabin is maintained and prepared in accordance with owner preferences and expectations.

  • Must reside within a three-hour drivable commute to the aircraft’s base.

Location: Austin, TX ( KAUS)

Operation: Pt. 91

Compensation: $185,000 - $190,00; with fully paid medical and healthcare premiums

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations and protocols while providing exceptional service to passengers.
  • Learn and maintain detailed knowledge of the owner's food preferences, needs, allergies, and other personalized requests.
  • Regularly update passenger profiles and maintain accurate aircraft inventory records.
  • Organize and maintain owner lockers, cages, and office spaces, ensuring all aircraft bedding, cabin supplies, and equipment are accounted for and well-maintained.
  • Conduct routine inventory checks to ensure quality, consistency, and readiness of all cabin supplies.
  • Prepare the aircraft with necessary amenities, catering, and special requests, ensuring the cabin is spotless and all items are current and in place before each flight.
  • Source. shop for and stock the aircraft with the owner’s requests and preferred items, rotating supplies and replacing items as needed.
  • Proactively identify and address any issues related to aircraft’s cabin wear and tear, coordinating with the Pilot in Command (PIC) or appropriate department.
  • Safely offload and on-load aircraft items during regular maintenance events or as required.
  • Set up the aircraft for showings to potential charter clients, ensuring it meets the highest standards.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate the owner’s schedule, adjusting to changes in flight schedules as necessary.
  • Maintain continuous communication with In-Flight Services management to ensure smooth operations and support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience operating under Part 91 and/or Part 135 in a large cabin private or corporate jet environment
  • Reside within a 2-hour drivable commute to the aircraft’s home base at KAUS — this is not a commutable or fly-in/fly-out position
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
  • Active Food Handler Certification
  • Valid, unexpired passport
  • Current Emergency Training certification from an approved training provider (completed within the past 12 months) including CPR and First Aid
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening
  • Flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments, unless on a scheduled day off
  • Completion of Clay Lacy Aviation indoctrination training upon hire
