Job summary

AECOM is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Regulatory Compliance Analyst IV for California State Grants in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on interpreting regulations, managing grant applications and reporting from start to finish, and ensuring alignment with California state funding programs.

The successful candidate will work with internal teams and external agencies, maintain records, and support auditors.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Deep understanding of California state funding programs and school facility regulations.

Responsibilities

• Research and interpret California State regulations related to school facility funding.
• Identify and evaluate available funding opportunities.
• Prepare and submit accurate grant applications and all related documentation.
• Prepare and/or support preparation of expense reports for auditors.
• Collaborate with internal teams, attorneys, CPAs, and administrative agencies to gather required information.
• Maintain organized records of all grant-related materials.
• Work with IT staff to define data requirements and support grant tracking systems.
