Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking an LVN for a full-time position in California. The role provides nursing care within scope of practice, following physician orders and center policies.

Responsibilities include medication administration, patient and family education, rounds with physicians when necessary, and communication with other departments about patient changes, LOA, admissions, and discharges. CA LVN license required.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as LnN in state CA
• One-year prior nursing management experience preferred, not required

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient needs are met according to standards and physician orders
• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of infection control procedures
• Supports the quality improvement program and quality life monitoring
• Notifies departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge)
• Conducts family and patient education
• Administers medications timely and according to facility policy
• Administers treatments timely and according to facility policy
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders as allowed by the Nurse Practice Act
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary
