Officers will help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for attendees, event staff, and other authorized personnel. Responsibilities may include monitoring access points, assisting guests, supporting crowd flow, maintaining a visible security presence, and promptly reporting incidents or safety concerns.

This is a temporary, event-based assignment for the November 28, 2026 festival.
Candidates must be available to work 10:45 AM-10:30 PM on the event date. Officers must reliably report on time and be available for the full scheduled shift.
Applicants must possess a physical copy of a current, valid California Guard Card, available for verification. A Guard Card number alone does not satisfy the physical Guard Card requirement.
Applicants must provide documentation confirming successful completion of Power to Arrest (PTA) and Appropriate Use of Force (AUOF) training that meets applicable BSIS requirements.
A combined PTA/AUOF certificate is accepted. Training documentation must be available for verification and is required for consideration under Treston Security Services' hiring standards, subject to applicable legal exemptions.
Applicants must demonstrate clear communication skills, professional conduct, and a customer-service-oriented approach. Officers must be able to follow written and verbal instructions, remain composed when addressing concerns, exercise sound judgment, and work effectively with supervisors and other event personnel.
Punctuality, attentiveness, and reliable attendance for the full assigned shift are essential.
Previous event security experience is preferred, particularly experience supporting festivals, concerts, access control, crowd management, or guest assistance.
Previous customer service experience is also preferred, including experience interacting with the public, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally.
Neither event security nor customer service experience is required. Applicants without prior experience may be considered if they meet the required licensing, training-documentation, availability, and other qualifications.
This assignment takes place in an active festival environment and may involve extended periods of standing or walking, interaction with large crowds, and exposure to elevated noise levels.
Officers must be able to perform the essential duties of the assignment safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
