Job summary

DCS Corp seeks a technically skilled engineer for a hands-on Systems Integration Lab role focused on testing and validating C5ISR systems for Army ground vehicles. The position is on-site and requires close collaboration with Army personnel and DCS engineers.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, lab bench configuration, documentation updates, and seamless support for testers in a highly secure environment.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship is required due to sensitive customer requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is required, with at least 2 years in a technical/engineering role.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Familiarity with communication protocols (CAN bus, Ethernet, Serial, RS-10, RS-232, etc.).

Responsibilities

Identify, engineer, implement, and verify bench designs and cables to enhance usability.
Ensure benches reflect current configurations for testing latest software versions.
Troubleshoot errors and develop solutions to restore bench functionality.
Interface with Army/DoD program offices to understand subsystem interoperation.
Provide tester support to enable efficient testing.
Provide electrical, mechanical and software support to lab bench planning and execution.
Work with Army customer and DCS Engineers in a team environment.
Identify and procure materials for the lab.
Maintain configuration management and update drawings to reflect bench configurations.
Perform mechanical assembly as required.
Coordinate with government personnel to plan bench activities.
Maintain current bench configurations and assets.
Develop familiarity with C5ISR and combat vehicle subsystems.
