We are seeking a Principal Platform Engineer to support the C5I (Command, Control, Communications, Computing, Cyber, and Intelligence) product line within the Missile Defense Sensors (MDS) Software Department. The MDS mission is to provide world-class Radar and Command and Control (C2) software across an array of surveillance and warning systems. Platform Engineers design, optimize, and maintain the secure, scalable, mission-critical software infrastructure that underpins radar, C2, and DevSecOps-intensive systems. As a senior leader on our team, you will shape platform architecture, drive modernization and ensure delivery of robust capabilities that support real-time mission execution across programs. This role requires deep DevSecOps expertise, technical leadership and the ability to influence architecture and engineering strategy across multiple teams.
This position is located onsite in Tewksbury, Massachusetts.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD.
The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
This role is a U.S.-based role.
If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
