Job summary

Prorec Resource Solutions, LLC is seeking a software-focused analyst in Huntsville, AL to support Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) performance assessment. Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required at start (verifiable in DISS).
• Applied software engineering experience.
• Experience producing tools and products for system or project analysis (Java, Python).
• Experience creating and briefing chart packages.

Responsibilities

• Develop ad hoc post-processing analysis tools and plots, preferably using Java, Python, or MATLAB.
• Track C2BMC development updates and identify regressions after code changes.
• Perform deep-dive performance analysis using Technical Performance Metrics and other measures.
• Evaluate timing, track quality, discrimination accuracy across large datasets.
• Translate analysis findings into actionable development tasks.
• Create and present analysis documents, briefs, and detailed chart packages for leadership.

Work Arrangement: 100% On-site. Huntsville, AL. On-site position.

Schedule: Four 10's, Monday-Thursday; Friday-Sunday off; onsite only

Contract: Direct hire permanent role

Role Overview

Supports Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) performance assessment through software development, regression analysis, large-dataset analysis, and technical liaison work between analysts and developers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop ad hoc post-processing analysis tools and plots, preferably using Java, Python, or MATLAB.
• Track Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) development updates and identify regressions after code changes.
• Perform deep-dive performance analysis using Technical Performance Metrics, Special Interest Items, and other measures.
• Evaluate timing, track quality, discrimination accuracy, and other parameters across large datasets.
• Translate analysis findings into actionable development tasks.
• Create and present analysis documents, briefs, and detailed chart packages for internal and external leadership.
  
  

Required Technical Skills

• Active Secret clearance required at start. Clearance must be verifiable in DISS.
• Applied software engineering experience.
• Java, C++, Python, database management, networking, or data communications.
• Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Experience producing tools and products for system or project analysis, preferably in Java and Python.
• Experience creating and briefing chart packages.
• Familiarity with servers, storage, virtual machines, architecture, and network practices.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• DevOps tooling such as Jenkins, HTCondor, and GitLab.
• Statistical distributions, hypothesis testing, model validation, inferential statistics, confidence intervals, and goodness-of-fit testing.
• Systems engineering for DoD information systems.
