Job summary

TechINT Solutions Group in Tampa, FL is seeking Joint Counter Unmanned Systems Modeling and Simulation Analysts. You will perform on-site analysis, develop C-UAS models, and collaborate with military and civilian stakeholders to deliver insights for decision-making.

The role requires a DoD TS/SCI clearance, proficiency in C/C++, Python, Java, and experience with EADSIM/AFSIM. A Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience is expected, with a Master’s being desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant modeling and simulation experience.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with current investigation.
• Experience with C++, Python, and Java or similar languages.
• Experience with modeling and simulation software, preferably EADSIM/AFSIM.
• Strong command of quantitative and qualitative assessment tools and methodologies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, Office, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site analysis, operation and support of Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) simulation models.
• Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and optimization methods to support C-UAS decision making.
• Collect/analyze C-UAS data and develop decision-support software, services or products.
• Participate in working groups to share information, review products, and coordinate efforts.
• Engage partners (OSD-CAPE, AFRL, CAA, Navy N81, Joint Staff) to extend C-UAS analysis capabilities.
• Develop study questions and study plans for C-UAS projects.
• Analyze measures of effectiveness and study implications from model outputs.
• Implement verification and validation processes with subject matter experts.
• Assist USCENTCOM in crafting insights from simulations and brief leadership on results.
• Ensure timely completion of projects under government or civilian project managers.

TechINT Solutions Group is looking for Joint Counter Unmanned Systems Modeling and Simulation Analysts for customer support in Tampa, FL. Job# TI1473.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Provide on-site analysis, operation and support of complex Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) simulation models
• Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with C-UAS decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions
• Collect and analyze C-UAS data and develop decision support software, service, or products
• Participate in routine working group sessions to facilitate information exchange, peer review and vetting of products
• Establish working relationships with analytical partners such as OSD-CAPE, Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), CAA, Navy N81, Joint Staff (JS)-J8, etc. to extend CCJ8’s Modeling and Simulation Teams C-UAS analysis capabilities and expertise
• Develop C-UAS study questions by implementing a process that properly identifies and defines issues and outlines study questions for development into study plans
• Analyze and evaluate measures of effectiveness/measures of performance and C-UAS study implications based on data produced from the models
• Implement a verification process that incorporates the proper framing of study questions, conduct research and coordination to capture data necessary to populate the models, and configure and program the model(s). The technical experts and analytical working group described above shall be included in this process
• Implement a validation process that analyzes model output by interacting with planning/operations subject matter experts.
• Assist USCENTCOM in crafting insights and conclusions produced from the simulations of these studies
• Brief leadership on analytic insights
• Conduct all tasks necessary to complete assigned projects within the time and quality standards established by the supported government military or civilian project manager.

Requirements

• Must have an active and transferrable DoD Top Secret security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance
• Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant experience in modeling and simulation
• Experience with C++/Python/Java or similar programming language
• Possess the ability to implement and apply familiarity with common qualitative and quantitative assessment tools and methodologies in the conduct of analysis projects.
• Experience working with modeling and simulation software; preferably Extended Air Defense Simulation (EADSIM) and Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM)
• Expert level skills with Microsoft Office Suite tools (SharePoint, Office, PowerPoint)

Desirable Qualifications

• Masters of Science Degree with documented coursework in operations research, industrial/systems engineering, systems analysis, or related field
• Experience interfacing with military staffs at the operational and strategic level.
