Hirewell is seeking talented Software Engineers in Chicago to design and build scalable, high-performance trading applications. You will work closely with traders and engineers to deliver robust systems and advance our tech-forward trading platform.

The role calls for at least 5 years in C++, strong OO design, and experience with multithreading and networking. A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to mentor junior team members are valued.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C++ with at least 5 years of experience.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with high-performance, multi-threaded programming and network protocols.
• Previous success in delivering automated trading systems is a plus.
• Ability to take ownership of projects from conception to deployment.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to excel in a fast-paced environment.
