Job summary

Herb Chambers Honda of Burlington in Lynnfield, MA is seeking an Automotive Technician (INDTECH) to perform routine vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs with a focus on safety and quality. You will work on a range of vehicles and participate in ongoing training to stay current with the latest automotive technologies.

Qualifications

• Must have basic tools
• Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test)
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Previous automotive experience as a D level tech required
• Automotive technical school certifications preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
• Perform basic suspension and steering diagnosis and repair
• Perform basic brake diagnosis and repair, alignments, tire repair, TPMS work
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order
• Stay up to date by reading factory bulletins, campaigns, updates and recalls
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs and schools
• Continuously expand knowledge of new technology to gain additional practice
