Job summary

Truckee Gaming, LLC is seeking a store associate to organize merchandise displays and manage stock in the convenience store. Duties include counting inventory, tagging prices, shelving products, and maintaining a clean work area according to policy.

Responsibilities

• Receives merchandise that comes into convenience store and ensures that the merchandise is unloaded and stored according to the established procedures.
• Detailed cleaning of fixtures in the C-Store including beverage coolers, shelves, and tops.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, empty ash trays and trash cans as needed.
• Clean and maintain outside areas including parking lot and pumps per guidelines, and assist with snow removal.
• Observe safety policies and PPE usage.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for organizing merchandise product displays and storage of product in an efficient manner. Duties include counting inventory, adding price tags, putting products on shelves, keeping the work area clean, and receiving inventory. Cleans and maintains public areas on the property following all departmental policies and procedures.

Essential Job Functions:

• Proceeds to assigned area and follows daily assignment sheet.
• Manage and maintain the storage conditions of goods received in convenience store.
• Coordinate retail space activities

• Detailed cleaning of all fixtures in the C-Store including but not limited to the beverage coolers-glass and tops, All shelves, top shelves and every shelf.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, empty ash trays and trash cans as needed.
• Clean and maintain outside areas of the convenience store/casino including (but not limited to) parking lot, outside trash, doors, detailed cleaning of the gasoline pumps per safety and company guidelines, and assists with snow removal.
• Observe safety policies and procedures including but not limited to safe lifting, proper chemical storage and usage, and posting correct signage/cones in freshly mopped areas, wearing proper PPE including safety vest when outside.
• Must possess excellent organizational skills, as well as the ability to multitask.
• Monitor and maintain all equipment.
• Able to work independently while maintaining scheduling.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store and enhance appearance of the store by adopting the most appropriate display techniques.

Work Environment and ADA Requirements:

Must be able to stand and walk for entire shift. Must be able to work in an inside environment with loud background noise and smoky conditions. Must be able to work in an outdoors environment in all weather conditions including, but not limited to: rain, snow, ice, smoke, and heat. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis. Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, twist, crouch, squat, lift. Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
