Job summary

Primm Valley Casino Resorts is seeking dependable Porters to keep our convenience store and surrounding property clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and team members. Duties include cleaning, stocking, and supporting merchandising while maintaining safety standards.

Ideal candidates are reliable, self-motivated, and able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed, with strong guest service and teamwork values.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Proven reliability and strong attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the convenience store, fueling areas, sidewalks, parking lots, and other exterior areas.
  • Clean and sanitize guest and employee restrooms throughout each shift.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain all flooring surfaces.
  • Stock beverage coolers, merchandise displays, and other inventory.
  • Receive, unload, organize, and store freight deliveries.
  • Assist with basic merchandising and product rotation as directed.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines and operational procedures.
  • Provide friendly, courteous assistance to guests and address concerns promptly.

Position Summary

Primm Valley Casino Resorts is looking for dependable and hardworking Porters to help keep our convenience store and surrounding property clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and team members.

Porters are responsible for cleaning and maintaining the interior and exterior of the facility, including restrooms, floors, windows, sidewalks, parking areas, and fuel pump islands. Additional duties include stocking beverage coolers, receiving and organizing freight, assisting with merchandising, and supporting the overall appearance of the store.

The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently while providing excellent guest service. Must be flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The duties listed below are representative of the position and are not intended to be all-inclusive. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as business needs require.

  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the convenience store, fueling areas, sidewalks, parking lots, and other exterior areas.
  • Clean and sanitize guest and employee restrooms throughout each shift.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain all flooring surfaces.
  • Clean interior and exterior windows, doors, and glass surfaces.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout the property.
  • Stock beverage coolers, merchandise displays, and other assigned inventory.
  • Receive, unload, organize, and store freight deliveries.
  • Maintain clean, organized stockrooms and storage areas.
  • Assist with basic merchandising and product rotation as directed.
  • Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained, stored, and replenished.
  • Identify and promptly report maintenance issues, safety hazards, spills, or damaged equipment.
  • Follow all company safety standards, sanitation guidelines, food safety requirements, and operational procedures.
  • Provide friendly, courteous assistance to guests and promptly direct guest concerns to management when appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous janitorial, porter, custodial, housekeeping, or convenience store experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong work ethic with excellent attendance and reliability.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
  • Valid state-issued Food Handler Card/Certification required, or the ability to obtain one within the required timeframe.
