Summary

As a C-store Operations Consultant, you will serve as a data expert to the C-Store channel driving development and implementation of LSP initiatives to meet and exceed financial objectives. The Consultant will be an expert in the pervasive application of insights to fuel growth through C-Store strategic initiatives & differentiated capabilities. Key within the role is synthesizing business trends, competitive activity, shopper insights, and financial insights, among others, to identify opportunities within strategies while developing solutions to drive growth and streamline efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Supports C-Store Operations in tactical execution of current and future channel strategies, priorities, and pillars with a focus on Independent store strategies such as distribution and selling, as well as serving as the lead to ideating and creating our technical capabilities to include handheld ordering, Tableau, PowerBi and MSA Dhiva reporting.
  • Ensure the execution of channel capabilities using multiple systems including but not limited to SalesForce, MSA, IRI, PowerBi, and PlanEx. This includes using tools and data such as Tableau, Space Management, complete Syndicated Data Analysis, Navigator, Efficient Assortment, Inter and Intra Channel Benchmarking, Executive Summaries and Fair Share to ensure the execution of the support strategic business plan. Effectively utilize the company's analytical tools and processes to ensure corporate objectives are met. Supports CSE & Retail teams in aspects of focus area reporting.
  • Implements tools, insights and processes to drive sales volume while streamlining consistent reporting throughout the C-Store channel
  • Partner with internal teams including but not limited to GIS, Sales Planning, Retail Development, and IS in development and management of tools & capabilities
  • Work in the field with ARSL, RSL, and TSA's to gain perspective and generate recommendations for enhancements of tools, processes & procedures to maximize time management across the channel
  • Assist Operations Manager with providing direction to the retail team on cycle priorities, REM information with a focus on key responsibilities

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor\'s Degree Required

Experience: This position requires previous Category Management and/or CPG Sales experience (approximately 5-7 years), advanced analytical skills, advanced understanding of consumer/shopper behavior and market research strategies, knowledge of consumer sales industry trends and complete working knowledge of the category management process.
