Job summary

Gold Ranch Casino is seeking a full-time Cashier to greet customers, handle transactions, and maintain an organized checkout area in a fast-paced environment. You will operate registers, process payments, and provide friendly service on the gaming floor or at the counter.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, basic math skills, and prior cashier or retail experience. Ability to stand long hours and lift up to 50 lbs is required; training on POS systems will be provided.

Qualifications

• Basic arithmetic to collect payments and give correct change.

Job Description

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change

• Memorize product locations throughout the store and be able to direct customers or make suggestions
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner
• Collect payments and bag purchases for customers
• Maintain accurate cash drawer
• Take a tally of the funds in the cash register when required during a shift and produce transaction reports
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly
