Job summary

Fleet Farm in Blaine, MN is seeking a friendly Convenience Store Team Member to provide quick, courteous service and help manage fuel and store operations. You will process transactions, handle cash, stock shelves, and ensure safety and cleanliness throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures, including simple math.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work in a variety of temperatures, including cooler, freezer, and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a quick and efficient check-out experience.
• Process and handle monetary transactions including cash, check, gift card, credit/debit card, etc.
• Follow all city, county, and state regulations regarding tobacco, lottery, and alcohol transactions.
• Follow all safe food handling requirements.
• Gas Mart operations including maintenance of fuel pumps and related documentation.
• Respond to spills and hazardous material handling per protocol.
• Ensure sidewalks are clear and safe.
• Assist customers with product location, price, and usage questions.
• Maintain stock levels and restock merchandise as needed.
• Open and close the store and ensure facility security.
• Complete cleaning tasks including floors, restrooms, and food prep areas.
• Set up displays per company directives.
• Promote Fleet Farm loyalty programs and card initiatives.
