Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Principal C&SP Methodology Lead to drive technical strategy in clinical and statistical programming. You will lead automation initiatives, mentor staff, and collaborate across Data Management, Biostatistics, IT and R&D teams.

The role requires extensive programming experience (SAS, R, Python) and knowledge of GxP regulatory guidelines. You will manage projects, develop innovative tools, and advance data science within the Therapeutic Area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, mathematics, data science/analytics, public health or other relevant field preferred or equivalent depth.
• 6-8 years of programming experience with increasing responsibility.
• Experience in software development and testing (SAS Macros tools, R functions/packages).
• Experts in developing applications using SAS, R and/or Python.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory guidelines (ICH-GCP, 21 CFR Part 11).
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex problems into clear programming solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical project leadership in Clinical and Statistical Programming.
• Identify innovation, automation and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Oversee work allocation of team members when needed.
• Lead departmental innovation and process improvement projects.
• Develop technical solutions to support automation and quality across the department.
• Collaborate with multiple functions to achieve project goals.
