Esri is seeking a software engineer to design and build server-side RESTful web services for ArcGIS Online, enabling access to geospatial data and applications. You will contribute to components across Azure infrastructure and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
The role emphasizes strong object-oriented design, knowledge of spatial databases, and experience with C#, C++, and .NET. A distributed-team mindset and Git proficiency are valued.
The ArcGIS Online team is building the next generation of software that enables our users to apply intelligent online maps and apps to support the work of businesses, governments, and communities worldwide. Our team of exceptional software developers build next-gen data access components for ArcGIS Online SaaS feature service, with various cloud database technologies.
As a software engineer, you will work with our cross-functional team of product engineers, designers, product managers, and release engineers. You will help to actively enhance the capability of ArcGIS Online feature services from inception to delivery, using the latest technology. We are looking for professionals in several specific areas including relational (PostgreSQL, SQLServer) and No-SQL databases, Distributed database, and RESTful web services.

$79,040 - $133,016 USD
