Job summary

Oteemo Inc. seeks an experienced software engineer to support Internal Research and Development initiatives focused on modernizing software delivery for defense systems.

You will be a hands-on developer comfortable in a code editor and CI/CD-driven workflows, with a strong foundation in software design principles and cross-team communication. Daily tasks include architecting complex legacy systems, shaping DevOps strategies, and collaborating with technical and business teams to ensure delivery

Qualifications

• C/C++ on Linux with command line tools.
• Daily use of CI/CD pipelines to compile, run tests and deliver artifacts.
• Strong software engineering practices: Git, code reviews, static analysis, troubleshooting builds or tests.
• Foundations in software design fundamentals, design patterns, architectural styles and SOLID principles.

Responsibilities

• Support IRAD initiatives to modernize software delivery for defense systems.
• Architect and design large, complex legacy software systems with hands-on Java/C/C++, and DevOps practices.
• Collaborate across development, operations, security, and business teams to ensure architectural standards.
