Job summary

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a test automation engineer to drive automation initiatives for client projects in Sunnyvale, CA. You will implement tests using C#, .NET App Automation Framework, and a BDD-based approach, and work with desktop/UI automation.

The role focuses on aligning automation with QA runs, analyzing results, debugging issues, and filing bugs with the client team. A Bachelor's or Master's in CS/EE/Math or related field is required; experience with Reqnroll

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience with test automation using .NET App Automation Framework and C#.
  • Experience with a BDD-based approach and desktop/UI automation.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the client team to identify and implement test cases for automation in the aligned Priority
  • Automation to seamlessly integrate with existing frameworks, workflows, and Lab environments
  • Potential risks associated with automation, such as cybersecurity threats, will be identified and mitigated
  • Estimated effort is based on the stability of the application

  • Analyze Automation results, debug and identify Product and Automation issues, file bugs appropriately, and work on resolution as aligned with the client team.
