Job summary

Ocean State Job Lot is hiring a C# .NET Developer to join a mid-sized team working on Web and Windows applications with ongoing maintenance. The role emphasizes collaboration in an Agile setting, delivering high-quality solutions, and providing design, coding, testing, and documentation support.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of .NET/SQL Server development experience, strong Blazor skills, and familiar with REST/SOAP web services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above; CS preferred; can be substituted with relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of .NET Framework, .NET Core, and OOP
• Strong knowledge of Blazor
• 2–4 years of Applications Development experience
• 2–4 years’ experience with C# .NET (ASP.NET, ADO.NET)
• 2–4 years’ experience with SQL Server 2016+ (creating SQL, table design, views, stored procedures)
• 2–4 years’ experience with REST, SOAP, and related Web Service architectures
• 2–4 years’ experience with Visual Studio
• 2–4 years’ experience with Source control; Git preferred
• 2–4 years’ experience with developing web APIs
• Wrike or Jira experience preferred
• Understanding of design principles for scalable apps
• Experience in Agile environments
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with shell languages such as bash, PowerShell, or cmd is preferred

We are seeking a C# .NET Developer with good SQL Server development skills to join a mid-sized team of developers working on new development of Web Applications, Windows Applications and supporting maintenance on existing applications when needed.

The ideal candidate should have experience working in an Agile environment and interacting/coordinating with all members of the team (Product, QA, Implementations) in order to deliver high quality and efficient solutions. The candidate will be a primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value. Daily activities will include analysis, coding, design, and collaboration with QA on testing. Interaction with the team is highly collaborative and cooperative.

Primary Responsibilities
