Sunny Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a full-time CNA to assist residents with activities of daily living in a long-term care setting. The role includes basic treatments, charting, and care-plan participation to ensure quality daily care.

We offer 24-hr professional care, and reimbursement for CNA certification course costs when hired full-time. High school diploma and Wisconsin CNA certificate required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent experience preferred.
• Current Wisconsin certificate as Nursing Assistant.
• Functional understanding of medical terminology.
• Understands and effectively carries out oral and written instructions.
• Understands the concept of comprehensive nursing care.

Responsabilités

• Assists residents with activities of daily living, i.e., eating, bathing, dressing, etc.
• Performs simple treatments as assigned, e.g. vital signs, specimens.
• Observes, reports, and charts on daily living activities and care plan.
• Attends and contributes in resident care plan conferences as directed.
• Answers call lights and follows care plan.
• Responsible for general appearance of units and emergency cleaning.
• Distributes resident mail and cleans wheelchairs and equipment.
• Completes documentation/charting as needed or assigned.
• May perform other duties per facility needs.

Formation

High school graduate or equivalent

Wisconsin certificate as Nursing Assistant

Functional understanding of medical terminology

Understands and effectively carries out oral and written instructions
