Job summary

KBR, operating through its Mission Technology Solutions unit, seeks a C/K-130 Pilot to support VX-30 at NAS Point Mugu, CA. You will lead flight test sorties, instruct future crews, and travel up to 25% as required.

The role requires 10+ years in military test and evaluation, 1,000+ flight hours in C-130, and a DoD Secret clearance. Eligibility includes FAA/ MIL instrument rating and USA citizenship.

Qualifications

• BS degree or graduate of Test Pilot School (USNTPS, USAFTPS, Empire TPS or EPNER).
• At least 10 years in related work, including 3+ years as Test Project Officer.
• Minimum 1,000 C-130 pilot hours and Aircraft Commander designation; instructor/Check pilot in C/K-130.
• FAA Class II medical; CNAF 3710.7 min; FAA MIL instrument rating; CPL-ME.
• Hold DoD Secret Clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Pilot for C/K-130 aircraft, supporting flight test and aerial refueling.
• Direct flight operations planning, scheduling, execution and reporting.
• Qualified instructor for C/K-130 mission sets (instructor roles).
• Travel up to 25% as required by contract.
• Full-time position; highly qualified part-time considered.
