Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/IMS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years backend software design, development, and implementation.
• Expert-level proficiency in C# and .NET Framework/Core.
• Experience with Kafka and event streaming.
• Relational (PostgreSQL/Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases experience.
• Designing robust microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of SDLC, security, and QA processes.
• Familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD.
• Experience with Visual Studio and Docker.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement backend microservices and APIs using C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Implement data solutions with PostgreSQL/Oracle and MongoDB, and integrate Kafka for streaming.
• Develop cloud-native applications emphasizing performance, scalability, and resilience.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with product owners and teammates.
• Promote high code quality through reviews, testing (unit/integration) and secure coding.
• Analyze complex problems and troubleshoot across dev/test/prod with minimal oversight.
• Modernize legacy backend systems focusing on maintainability and performance.
• Create technical designs and architectural documents for backend services.
• Contribute to a product team with shared responsibility and cross-functional collaboration.
