Job summary

The Josef Group in Herndon, VA seeks a Software Engineer at all levels with TS/SCI clearance. Salary range 120K-180K. You will design and build real-time, cloud-based processing solutions and contribute across the full lifecycle from development to sustainment.

Proven ability to write readable, scalable, and maintainable code in C++ and Python on Linux systems. You will work independently, take initiative, and propose enhancements to existing frameworks and applications.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering skills with focus on readability, testability, scalability, and maintainability.

Design and build real-time cloud-based processing solutions, develop advanced signal processing and geolocation algorithms, and create user-friendly interfaces and data visualization tools. Test with real-world data, contribute across the full lifecycle (engineering, development, integration, deployment, and sustainment), and incorporate new technologies to improve performance. Engineers are expected to take initiative, work independently, and propose enhancements to existing frameworks and applications.

Required Background

Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
