Job summary

Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery in Pittsburg, CA is seeking a Sorter to sort and separate construction recyclable and non-recyclable materials by hand from conveyors, floors, and bales.

You will report to the Operations Manager and support safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced facility. Responsibilities include picking items off conveyors, keeping the workstation clean, and following all safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a production workplace environment.
• Experience working in a collection or post-collection workplace environment is a plus.
• Ability to work well in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pull items off conveyors, floors and compacted bales.
• Maintain a clean workstation and surrounding areas as needed and directed.
• Conduct work duties in compliance with all applicable company policies and safety/regulatory regulations.

Job Summary

As the Sorter you will be responsible for sorting and separating construction recyclable and non recyclablematerials by hand picking itemsfrom conveyors floors and compacted bales You will reportto the Operations Manager andbe directed by the shift workingforeperson Your main duties willinclude maintaining a clean workarea complying with company policies and ensuring that local state and federal safety and environmentalregulations are followed
