Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Level 4 Structural Technician for the Contract Field team to support C-130J modification, upgrade, and overhaul operations globally. The role requires frequent domestic and international travel (95%).

The incumbent will deliver depot-level maintenance and technical support, modifying and upgrading C-130J aircraft using technical data, drawings, and industry-standard tooling. A US passport and Secret clearance are prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–6 years Structural experience on C-130J or similar heavy aircraft.
• Experience with structural modification, upgrades and overhaul in field or depot settings.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, blueprints and technical data.
• Willingness to travel 90–95% of the year and obtain/maintain US passport.

Responsibilities

• Perform depot-level maintenance, modification, upgrade and overhaul of C-130J structural components.
• Provide technical assistance for assembly, operation, service, repair and modification of aircraft equipment.
• Investigate and report disposition of equipment difficulties encountered in the field.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers across host locations during travel.
• Foster teamwork and clear communication to meet shared goals.
