Job summary

KBR seeks a C-130 Aircraft Systems SME in the Warner Robins, GA area to provide advanced propulsion support for T56-A-15, 54H60, and NP2000. The role supports Air Force and international mobility customers with propulsion performance analysis, fleet sustainment engineering, and airworthiness evaluations for legacy and modernized C-130 platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aviation related field is required.
• Experience with C-130 propulsion and propeller systems (T56, 54H60, NP2000) is required.
• Knowledge of C-130H propulsion integration, maintenance processes and sustainment engineering.
• Ability to interpret technical orders, engineering drawings, and maintenance data.
• Strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills; clearance eligibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide propulsion engineering support for C-130 propulsion systems and related components.
• Conduct propeller system evaluations for T56, 54H60, and NP2000 including vibration analysis and balancing.
• Review and interpret Technical Orders and depot-level repair documentation.
• Support investigations into propeller control system issues and related anomalies.
• Develop engineering recommendations for propeller upgrades and retrofit programs.
• Coordinate with OEMs, depots, and government authorities to resolve issues.
• Prepare engineering reports, maintenance advisories, and modification proposals.
• Support field investigations and depot visits as needed.
