Job summary

Celestica is seeking an experienced professional in San Jose, CA, to manage the indirect supply chain across supplier, planning, and internal customer interfaces. You will advise senior management on process improvements and escalate supplier issues as needed.

With six to eight years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field, you will help drive material supply strategies across sites and communicate effectively with a wide range of internal customers.

Detailed Description

• The responsibilities span the HPS indirect supply chain including the Supplier, material flow, Planning and internal Customer interface.
• Acts as primary contact for the Internal Customer and other Sites that serve the Customer as it relates to material supply strategies.
• Advises senior management of process issues, opportunities and recommends action plans.
• Provides escalation support for Supplier issues.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

• Knowledge of Celestica's global HPS supply chain including strategies and objectives.
• Strong knowledge of IT concepts and systems
• Excellent knowledge of advanced planning systems and techniques
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem resolution skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal customers.

Physical Demands

• Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
• Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required

Salary

Base Salary $107,848 - $160,734

The stated range includes Base Salary and target Short-Term Incentive (STI) compensation only. A comprehensive benefits package is offered in addition to this range.
