Job description

We are seeking a team player who is driven, detail-oriented with knowledge to process purchase orders for equipment and materials, mainly for the mining industry.

Basic Duties

• Evaluation of commercial bids
• Maintaining Requisition logs
• Update Project team on order status
• Liaison between suppliers, engineering, and accounting teams
• Implement and support the continuous improvement and execution of procurement procedures and systems.
• Maintain and update vendor information.

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of 3-4 years’ relative experience. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent computer skills (Excel, MS Word)
• Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be a self-starter, detail-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills.
• Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision.
• A valid passport or the ability to obtain one.
