Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Buyer for Interior Products to source materials and services, negotiate with suppliers, and drive cost savings. You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Design, Supply Chain, and Finance to deliver on-time results with strategic supplier partnerships.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of purchasing experience, plus strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Marketing, Economics, International Business, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, or equivalent from AACSB accredited program.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant purchasing experience or related exposure to sourcing processes.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to think and act strategically.
• Strong communication, presentation and commodity leadership skills.
• Well organized, self-motivated, resourceful in managing complex situations.
• Ability to support all aspects of the commercial relationship with the supply base and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing activities for various commodities within Interior Products.
• Supplier negotiations and ensuring on-time, on-target delivery.
• Driving annual cost savings activities.
• Developing and implementing global commodity strategies.

The Buyer is responsible for sourcing activities supporting various commodities within Interior Products. The purchasing responsibilities include supplier negotiations, sourcing on time and to target, driving annual cost savings activities, developing and implementing global commodity strategies, and leading negotiation of commercial issues. The selected candidate will interact with many cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Design, Supply Chain Management, and Finance.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Marketing, Economics, International Business, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, or equivalent from an AACSB accredited program; Other technical degrees with business background also considered
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant purchasing experience or other disciplines that require significant negotiation/exposure to sourcing processes
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to think and act strategically
• Strong communication, presentation and commodity leadership skills
• Well organized, self-motivated, and resourceful managing of complex situations
• Ability to support all aspects of the commercial relationship with the supply base and key internal stakeholders
