Job summary

Medical Manufacturing Technologies LLC in St. George, Utah, is seeking an experienced Buyer II to manage purchasing and replenishment for assigned commodities, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery to support production schedules.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain leaders, mentoring junior buyers and driving cost-reduction initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing or buyer experience in electronics/contract manufacturing.
• Experience with supplier negotiations and sourcing decisions.
• Strong understanding of purchasing processes, supplier management, and inventory planning.
• Experience with ERP and MRP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, data analysis).
• Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, availability, and service.
• Develop bidder lists and lead RFQs for high‑value purchases.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, terms, and long‑term supply agreements.
• Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and monitor KPIs.
• Lead supplier audits and coordinate corrective actions.
• Create and manage POs; monitor inventory and MRPs.
