The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB Health) is seeking a Buyer II to manage end-to-end procurement for routine and mid-complexity goods and services. You will liaise with vendors, issue POs, track orders, and ensure compliance with UTMB, state, and federal procurement standards.
Responsibilities include handling requisitions, PO administration, supplier communications, and maintaining procurement records, with emphasis on accuracy and timely processing.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Health Care Administration, Supply Chain, or a relevant field. An equivalent combination of education and experience relevant to the role may be considered for this position.

Must obtain C.P.S.M., C.P.P.B, C.P.P.O, C.T.C.M., or an equivalent nationally recognized certification of professional credentials as deemed acceptable to UTMB within 18 months of appointment in title.

Buyer II performs intermediate-level purchasing responsibilities, managing end-to-end procurement for routine and mid-complexity goods and services. Actual salary commensurate with experience.
Partial Remote, onsite a minimum of two days a week. Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and as needed on occasion.
