Job summary

Blattner Energy, Inc. is seeking a buying/planning professional to generate, adjust and expedite purchase orders.

You will track orders, communicate delays to project teams and maintain supplier relationships to ensure timely deliveries and accurate data across materials and BOMs. The role requires an associate degree in a related field and at least one year in purchasing or planning; APICS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• One year of experience in purchasing, planning or related SCM function.
• APICS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, generates, adjusts and expedites purchase orders based on field requisitions, project insights, drawings take-offs, BOMs/BOEs and inventory strategies.
• Tracks and monitors purchase orders and communicates any impacts to planners and project managers.
• Maintains day-to-day communication with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and data integrity.
• Shares site access maps and transport/communication details with suppliers.
