Follett Corporation is seeking a detail‑oriented Merchandise Analyst to prepare weekly sales reports for senior management and support assortment planning across multiple channels. You will analyze sales data with MMS and RetailIDEAS, maintain SKUs and pricing with Merchandise Control, and coordinate with Planning and Allocation on assortment plans and lead times.

The role requires a retail environment background, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a retail environment is required.
• Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Must possess superior oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with other departments.

Responsabilités

• Prepare weekly sales reports for GM and Operations management.
• Analyze sales using MMS and RetailIDEAS for assortment reviews and presentations.
• Collaborate with Merchandise Control to maintain SKU and pricing.
• Communicate vendor/product information to Planning and Allocation, including assortment plans and lead times.
• Assist in online assortment execution by gathering images and proofreading copy.
• Process purchase orders for test and seasonal programs.
• Respond to field inquiries about product assortments for existing and new locations.
• Communicate with vendors about product details, pricing, terms, shipping, and imagery.
• Update and distribute assortment plans, term sheets, and vendor letters.
• Proofread pricing and vendor data in systems.
• Manage vendor samples for approved assortments.

• Prepares weekly sales reports for distribution to GM and Operations management teams
• Analyzes sales using reporting tools (MMS, RetailIDEAS) as needed for assortment reviews, vendor reviews, internal/external presentations, test programs, and additional reporting as necessary to support sales and merchandise strategy.
• Works closely with Merchandise Control team to maintain SKU and pricing information.
• Communicates vendor/product information to the Planning and Allocation team including assortment plans, and lead times.
• Assists in the assortment execution online including gathering images and proofreading copy.
• Executes purchase orders for test programs and seasonal programs.
• Responds to inquiries from the field operations team regarding product assortments for the existing and new retail locations.
• Corresponds with prospective vendors on an ongoing basis and communicates status in the review process.
• Communicates with vendors continually regarding the product, pricing, minimums, terms, shipping, labor code compliance, digital imagery, and other vendor-related concerns.
• Updates and distributes assortment plans, term sheets, and correspondence letters to vendors
• Proofing: Verifies that pricing and vendor information is accurate in the system. Proofreads correspondence letters.
• Sample Management: Maintains and organizes vendor samples of approved assortment.

Pay Range

The estimated pay range for this job. Disclosing pay information promotes competitive and equitable pay. The actual pay rate will depend on the person's qualifications and experience. $40,000.00 - $78,480.00 / year

Pay Transparency

The annual salary/hourly rate range has been established based on the role, experience, skill set, and location. The exact starting salary/hourly rate within the range will depend on the role and the local market. This position may be eligible to participate in one of the Company's incentive plans. The amount of any incentive payment varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
