Job summary

Supply Technologies, a subsidiary of ParkOhio, invites applications for a Buyer/Planner position in Dayton, OH. You will manage materials planning, procurement, and ensure on-time delivery to customers with the lowest cost and highest quality.

Work closely with suppliers to optimize inventory across distribution centers, issue POs, review SKU forecasts, and maintain accurate data in ERP systems. This role requires 3 years of distribution experience and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in material planning, procurement, or demand planning.
• 3 years’ experience in computerized ERP.
• 3 years’ experience in distribution environment.
• Authorized to work in the US for any employer.
• Associate degree in business or supply chain or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of items and optimize inventory across distribution centers.
• Issue purchase orders and support distribution plans with suppliers.
• Review demand forecasts by SKU using analytics to ensure forecast accuracy.
• Maintain system data such as BOMs, costs, and lead times.
• Resolve supplier invoice discrepancies and disposition non-conforming material.

We are hiring! at Supply Technologies, a subsidiary of ParkOhio(NASDAQ:PKOH), specializes in supplier selection and management, planning, implementing, managing the physical flow of product for world-class international manufacturing companies, and servicing customers in the various markets.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Buyer/ Planner to join our team. The Buyer / Planner is responsible for the materials Buer and planning, procures goods to support the continuous flow, delivery of product to the customer at the highest quality and lowest cost.

Responsibilities:

• Assigned portfolio of items, optimize inventory level across multiple distribution centers and achieve customer on time delivery goals.
• Issue purchase orders, work orders to support the distribution plans, meeting customers’ requirements. Working directly with assigned suppliers to obtain delivery and availability information.
• Review site-level demands forecasts by utilizing SKU and analytics to ensure forecast accuracy.
• Maintain accurate system data, such as billing of materials, purchase cost, lead times, etc.
• Resolve supplier invoice discrepancies and coordinate disposition of non-conforming material.

Must Haves:

• 3 years’ experience in material planning, procurement, or demand planning.
• 3 years’ experience in computerized ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
• 3 years’ experience in distribution environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer.
• Associate degree in business or supply chain or equivalent experience.
