Job summary

Lycoming Engines in Williamsport is seeking a procurement professional to maintain a steady flow of parts across Procurement, Quality, and Engineering.

You will develop annual requirements, place POs, schedule with Oracle, and work with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and quality while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Good manufacturing business acumen, including 6 Sigma methodologies.
• Solid background in Procurement and related supply chain disciplines.
• Computer literate.
• Experience or familiarity with manufacturing business systems, preferably Oracle.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with two years of experience or 3+ years of related work experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment.
• Strong leadership skills.

• Plan inventory reduction initiatives.
