Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a B.S. degree with at least two years in procurement, familiarity with MRP/ERP systems, and strong analytical and communication skills to support production schedules and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • B.S degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in procurement.
  • Preferred knowledge: MRP/ERP systems, BOM.
  • Oracle experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the materials used for an assigned commodity, including placing orders and lead times.
  • Clear exception messages, manage past dues and invoice issues in the ERP system.
  • Develop working knowledge of supplier base and MRP/ERP interactions.
  • Implement process improvements and drive efficiency improvements where possible.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production flow.

Scope
  • Manage all aspects of the materials used for an assigned commodity, including but not limited to, placing orders, managing lead times, clearing exception messages, managing past dues and clearing invoice issues using the appropriate MRP/ERP system.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage inventories to ensure continuous production while maximizing turns.

  • Develop thorough working knowledge of assigned commodities and associated supplier base.

  • Develop a thorough working knowledge of required MRP / ERP systems.

  • Bring ideas to management and be able to implement necessary process improvements.

  • Able and willing to work necessary hours to meet all project deadlines.

  • Develop mutually beneficial, respectful, and effective relationships with peers to ensure seamless coordination between departments, maximize synergy, and maintain a shared vision, strategy, and focus.

Education and Experience
Education
  • B.S Degree and or equivalent work experience.

Required Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Procurement.

Preferred Experience
  • Working knowledge of MRP/ERP Systems Purchasing and Bills of Materials.

  • Oracle experience preferred.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
