Job summary

Kratos Space Training & Cyber is seeking a Senior Buyer to procure fabricated sheet metal and machined components, manage POs, and oversee supplier performance within a CPSR-compliant environment. The role requires interpreting engineering drawings, evaluating bids, and coordinating with engineering, quality, accounting, and scheduling teams.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in purchasing similar parts, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and experience with CPSR/FAR/DFARS.

In this role, youill manage the procurement of custom sheet metal and machined partsifrom small brackets to large weldmentsiwhile partnering closely with engineering, quality, accounting, and scheduling teams. You will use approved vendor lists and MRP-generated requisitions to source competitive quotes, analyze bids, and issue accurate, timely purchase orders.
