Loft Orbital is seeking an experienced Buyer to join our Golden, CO team. You will source materials, equipment, and services for satellite and flight hardware, and manage purchases, contracts, and subcontracting to ensure production and launch deadlines are met.
You’ll negotiate with suppliers, optimize inventory, and drive cost savings while maintaining policy and quality standards. Collaborating with engineering, production, and logistics, you will align procurement activities with schedules
Satellite & flight hardware production at Loft Orbital is scaling rapidly, and we are seeking an experienced Buyer with a strong focus on procurement, contract management, and supplier relationship management. This critical role will support Loft’s engineering teams by sourcing and procuring materials, equipment, and services, ensuring that we meet production and launch deadlines. As a key player in our supply chain, your expertise will directly impact our success in delivering high-quality products.
Loft is in a period of dynamic growth & this person will initially be a swiss-army-knife, filling some operational gaps that we will eventually hire people for in the future.

State law requires us to tell you the base compensation range for this role, which is $80,000- $110,000 per year which is determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities. The salary range for this role is intentionally wide as we evaluate individuals based on their unique experience and abilities to fit our needs.
